Wanted to tell you about a couple of phone calls I’ve had today:

1) I did a preliminary/fact-gathering phone interview for one of the [many] companies I sent my resume to – good news, though it will likely be a long process if I ever make it through the first round.

2) My friend Christine Johnson had her first baby! After bragging that she’d probably have a short period of labor (her mother was in labor with her for only 4 hours), she had a 36-hour labor ending with a C-section. She’s very tired today. =) The good news is that with the C-section, she’s in the hospital for a few days, so she has other people to keep an eye on Abigail Christine.
