Tonight’s our first free night in a week, and the last free night for more than a week.  It’s been nice.  =)  I got to come home early from work because I’d put in more than 40 by 3:45, so I walked to the coffee shop with the girls then came on home.  Dave had already made dinner and was unpacking boxes in the back bedroom when I got home… I went upstairs to change and chat, and we ended up just collapsing.  It’s been an exhausting week. 

After dinner, I caught up on some work for my non-paying jobs, then tried to capture some video from my camera.  I don’t have an iLink cable, and my new computer’s software requires one.  I couldn’t grab any of the VHS tapes, either, because Dave was watching a baseball game.  Tomorrow we’re going to buy an iLink cable and a second, cheap-o VCR so I can start doing the home-video-to-DVD recording.  There’s a large box of VHS tapes and a shoebox full of Digital8 tapes – if Dave ever wants to watch TV again, the second VCR is a necessity.  =)
