so this isn’t quite as serious as a head injury but a while back i hit my knee sooo hard on our desk handle (nasty sharp thing) that i think i did cry. and it still feels funny when i play with my kneecap…

I totally jumped into the corner of steel vent hood thing once. You know those things over the top of stoves? That really sucked. Made me bleed. Maybe you got lucky cause you have hair. That stuff really cushions your head from a lot of things.

Tara, I honestly don’t remember Dad A. leaving a cabinet door open for me to hit my head on. But I do remember a few times “cornering” myself on closed cabinets. The worst was probably 30 yrs. ago in our then-laundry room when I leaned over for something or other and hit my head on the way back up. I still remember the pain, but it didn’t give me headaches or affect my vision. The vision part is what gives me the most anxiety about your situation. Please see a doc if that continues. Love you!

I bet Dave won’t leave a cabinet door open again. I did a similar thing to Brenda many moons ago. But she wasn’t hurt as badly as you are. If the headache persists into today, maybe you better go see your doc.
