@Jen: It was a bloodless, though violent, death.  There were piles of feathers in three different places in the backyard.  (I&#039;m proud of him, too, when I&#039;m not being mortified for having taken part in the death of a neighbor&#039;s pet - and VERY glad he didn&#039;t bring Dumplin&#039; inside.)</description>
